It's O.K.: How Hollywood see us Saudis

I was watching the movie "The Day the Earth Stood Still" , I'm not really a critic or anything and i dont care much about any idea in any movie; cuz lets face it Movies are not art , they are entertainment.

However, something caught my attention. They were showing some pictures from different places around the globe, when this came on:

Camels running and old jeeps. and Down there Riyadh (Capital city of Saudi Arabia)

Now, you can invade countries for no good reason. You can also put people in cages like animals. Bombing civilians , putting economic sieges on countries resulting in massive deaths due to poor economy and health care. thats alright cuz its called politics.

However I'm not alright with insult. Didn't occur to the producers (just for a little bit) that the economy of Saudi Arabia is a bit "better" than What it was 200 years ago. We can afford good cars and good roads. I don't like many things here in Saudi. But, the quality of living, housing, and general services are a lot better than what they assume.
